松美术馆将于2025年12月14日隆重推出艺术家邱瑞祥个展《个体》，展览由凯伦·史密斯担纲策展。本次展览将持续至2026年3月8日。

展览主题“个体”揭示了被种种生活习惯所包裹的个体独特性——那些注入邱瑞祥画作中的丰富情感与生命状态，既呈现着相似的共鸣，又诉说着差异的悸动。倘若艺术如同明镜，映照出人类的欲望、抱负、希望与迷惘；它形态各异的表达，也承载着社会、群体与个体的觉醒与慰藉，也正是在此意义上，邱瑞祥在绘画中发现、理解并提炼驱动人的能量。

邱瑞祥并非传统意义上的人物画家——尽管他的每一幅画作都旨在表达一种身体性的存在，且大多描绘了人体的某个局部，无论是行动中的，还是静止的，头部或面容。但对艺术家而言，这些仅仅是探索一个更广泛关切的方式。他无意于描绘人物的样貌，抑或个体在社会情境中的互动——即便此类创作常常出现在具象绘画的范畴中。相反，邱瑞祥思考的，是在广义上当今人类共同经历的生活中，每一个体所体验和感受到的情感。

本次展览是邱瑞祥迄今规模最大的个展，将汇集包含布面与纸本在内的90余件绘画作品。展览聚焦于艺术家自2006年创作初期至今的一系列创作，以其人物绘画为视角，呈现其工作的具体面向。

Song Art Museum is set to launch the solo exhibition, “Every One” (个体), by artist Qiu Ruixiang on December 14, 2025. Curated by Karen Smith , the exhibition will run until March 8, 2026.

The exhibition's title, “Every One”, points to the individual and to us all. This is underscored by Qiu Ruixiang’s belief that the individual's uniqueness is wrapped up in various life habits, which are common to all. The rich emotions and states of being that infuse Qiu Ruixiang's works resonate for the sense of shared experience whilst describing the different ways in which common habits are experienced. If art is like a bright mirror, reflecting human desires, ambitions, hopes, and bewilderment; and its diverse expressions carry the awakening and consolation of society, the collective, and the individual, then, in his painting Qiu Ruixiang has set himself the task of discovering, understanding, and extracting the energy that drives human actions and states.

Qiu Ruixiang is not a conventional figurative painter. While each of his paintings is conceived to express the presence of a physical body, and in most cases describes an aspect of the human form—whether in action or at rest, a head, or a face—for the artist, these are simply a means of exploring a broader concern. He does not intend the paintings to describe what people look like, or how individuals interact in social situations as commonly feature in the realm of figurative painting. Instead, Qiu Ruixiang thinks about what each individual person experiences and feels emotionally in the lives that, broadly speaking, all human beings live today.

“Every One” will be Qiu Ruixiang’s largest solo exhibition to date , gathering over 90 paintings on both canvas and paper. The exhibition focuses on a series of works created from his early phase in 2006 to the present, presenting the specific facets of his work through the perspective of his figure paintings.
